Ugg Cleaning Kit DOES NOT WORK.
Recently, I decided i needed to use my uggs for the snow, because i didnt own snow boots, it was freezing cold, and if i wore sneakers my ankles would freeze. When i got home i had a few salt stains around the edges of the boots, so i decided that since i had the product i would wash them. I did exactly as the product stated, moistened the Uggs with cold water, diluted the "Ugg Sheepskin Cleanser" (half cleanser/half water), and GENTLY rubbed the formula on the sheepskin with the clean sponge (softer side, not the rough one). I waited 24 hours for it to dry, and the sheepskin came out dry, wrinkly, and hard. I was worried, so i googled what to do. There werent any clear answers, Mostly from Yahoo Answers and stuff, so i did the most popular answer, and the one that made the most sense to me, brush the sheepskin with a suede brush. This took a very long time, with very little progress. Only one part of the boot was somewhat soft, and the rest was still wrinkly, and hard. And then i noticed that also some of the fur started to become, well, patchy? Im not sure what word to use to describe it. So at this point, my uggs are pretty much ruined. Then my mom tells me that you ARENT SUPPOSED TO WET SUEDE. Why would UGG make a Cleaning Kit, if wetting suede ruins them? Even though im buying a new pair of Uggs tomorrow, Im dissapointed with this product. I love Uggs and all, but i would never reccomend using this product. Maybe it was just the way i used it? But i would buy this if i were you. Your best bet? While your wearing Uggs, Stay AWAY from all rain, water, snow, slush, ect.
I hope you have better luck then i did.
Seeya!
